Hello, I’m Maggie. Wipe away a layer of quirk and you’ll find a typical bibliophilic student buried beneath. My favourite things to do include sitting alone in cafés and looking important, biking, staring melodramatically out windows, knitting on the bus, borrowing old CDs, and pining after fictional characters, especially Victorian gentlemen such as Mr. Darcy.
Through university I have been introduced to the world’s beautiful religious texts, literature, and philosophical ideas, all of which provide much of my current inspiration in life, in art, and, much to the dismay of my friends and family, in conversation topics too. I’ve just finished my third year of undergraduate education at the University of Edinburgh where I took some English Literature and Celtic Culture courses which will hopefully allow me to graduate when I return to complete my fourth year at Carleton University.
I’m using this blog as a way to document my adventures as an expat, an exchange student, and as an all-around fabulous individual with a fabulous life. Enjoy the journey 🙂
